Seller Terms
Last Revised: October 22, 2026
These Seller Terms apply when you sell products (one-time purchases or subscriptions) through the Service. They add to our Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy. If you sell on behalf of an org, you accept them for the org. “Seller” means you or that org.
1. Eligibility
1.1. To sell, you need a plan that allows selling (Creator for users, Business for orgs) and a payout account with Stripe. Payout accounts are currently only for sellers based in the US.
1.2. You set up your payout account through the dashboard. You choose your country when you create it, and it can’t be changed later. Stripe verifies your identity and bank details. By creating the account, you accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, and you authorize Bazaar to share information about you and your sales with Stripe.
2. Payments
2.1. Buyers pay Bazaar. Bazaar collects payments for you through Stripe, collects and pays the VAT or sales tax due in the buyer’s country, and transfers your share as described below.
2.2. You set your prices. Prices include VAT or sales tax. A product costs at least $1.00 (USD). After a product is created, its price can’t change.
3. Fees
3.1. For each payment, Bazaar keeps a platform fee of 10% of the payment after tax, plus $0.30. This fee covers payment processing.
3.2. If you sell through someone else’s app, the app’s owner may set an app fee of up to 5% of each payment after tax. The app fee goes to the app’s owner and is deducted from your share.
3.3. We may change fees with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Changes don’t apply to payments made before they take effect.
4. Payouts
4.1. Your share of each payment is held for 90 days after the payment. The hold covers refunds and disputes.
4.2. After the hold, we transfer your share to your Stripe account once your due shares add up to at least $25. Stripe then pays out to your bank on your Stripe payout schedule.
4.3. Payouts wait while a payment is disputed or while your Stripe account can’t receive transfers.
5. Refunds and Disputes
5.1. Bazaar may refund a buyer when the law requires it, when a product wasn’t delivered as described, or to resolve a complaint or prevent a dispute.
5.2. A refund or a lost dispute reduces your share of that payment. If your share was already transferred, we reverse the transfer for that amount. If we can’t, you owe us the amount, and we may deduct it from future payouts.
6. Your Responsibilities
6.1. You are the seller of your products to the buyer. You must describe them accurately, deliver what you sell, and support your buyers.
6.2. You may only sell products allowed by our Acceptable Use Policy and by Stripe’s prohibited and restricted businesses list.
6.3. Bazaar handles the VAT or sales tax on your sales. You are responsible for other taxes on your proceeds, such as income tax, and for complying with the laws that apply to your sales, including consumer protection laws.
6.4. Your sales show you buyers’ names and handles. Use them only to provide and support what they bought.
7. Suspension and Termination
7.1. We may pause your sales or withhold payouts while we investigate suspected fraud, a violation of these Seller Terms, or a high rate of refunds or disputes.
7.2. You can stop selling by deleting your products. Existing subscriptions stay active until buyers cancel them, unless you ask us to cancel them.
7.3. If your sales end, shares still on hold are paid out after their hold, minus refunds and disputes.
8. Changes
We may change these Seller Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
